How I work
Riverside is a private practice. I'm the only practitioner, so the person you meet at your first visit is the person who treats you every time.
I look closely at your history, how your body is responding, and the plan your doctors have you on. Then I choose treatment that fits all three.

- Every visit is with me from start to finish, in a quiet room with brick walls, plants, and big windows onto a garden.
- Traditional and modern
- I combine traditional acupuncture with modern neurophysiology, electroacupuncture, cupping, and nutritional assessment where they help.
- Alongside your doctors
- Acupuncture works alongside medical care, fertility treatment, and physical therapy. Your doctors lead your medical care, and I never change your medications.
- Two tables
- My room has two tables. When it's appropriate, I can treat partners, family members, or friends in the same appointment, each with their own plan.
Your first appointment
We start by talking, and nothing happens without an explanation first. You can call or text me before you book if you'd like to ask anything.
We talk first
We go through why you're here, your history, and any care or treatment you're already getting from your doctors.
I take a closer look
Depending on why you came, I check how you move and where it's tender, or we map out your cycle and your clinic's calendar.
Treatment and a plan
Then I treat. Before you leave, I'll tell you what I found and suggest how often to come in.

I'm Jason Rinker. I'm a licensed acupuncturist and a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and I've practiced since 1999.
